Gormans lead the way

16 Flying Fifteens turned out for the DBSC race last night (Thursday, August 9th). There was a force 3 S/SE wind, with the tide flooding. After the success of their children in recent Optimist events, it was the turn of the parents to take centre stage, with Dave and Sarah Gorman taking the gun in a comfortable win. Full results


Maguire, Burgess hold on for win

Justin Maguire and Frank Burgess fought a tacking duel to hold on to the win in Saturday's (July 19th) sole DBSC race, which had been postponed due to fog.

Green, Doorly shine through the fog

Alan Green and Chris Doorly navigated their way through fog and fickle winds to win the 15-boat DBSC race last evening (Thursday, July 17th).

Gorman, Doorly bag fourth Dun Laoghaire regatta

Dave Gorman and Chris Doorly made it an extraordinary clean sweep of four Dun Laoghaire regattas this year, winning the Royal St George YC event at the weekend (July 5th), ahead of Jonathan O'Rourke and Ian Mathews, with Adrian Cooper and Joe McNamara in third.

Gorman, Doorly do it again at DMYC

Dave Gorman and Chris Doorly continued their run of success in this year's Dun Laoghaire club regattas, with a win in the DMYC event on Saturday (June 28), beating national champions Ian Mathews and Keith Poole into second place.
